Payment Entry - Narration

Use this option when you are processing a payment to enter any text you want associated with the transaction. Narrative text is printed on the verification report when you print the GL transaction batch, and can also be viewed or printed on other MGL reports such as account inquiries.

1. Enter or maintain the payment details.

Refer to "GL Transactions - Payment Entry".

2. Select the Narration button.

Micronet displays the Enter Narration screen.

3. Enter the text you want associated with this transaction then select OK.

Micronet redisplays the Payment Entry screen.

4. Continue processing the payment.
